I have been dedicated to crafting myself physically and mentally for the majority of my life.
At the age of 10, my interest revolved around sports, nearing high school, soccer became one of my main focuses. After high school, I started comparing myself to others in a negative way, bothering me to a point where I did not have the confidence to bring myself to any outdoor activities or other public events. I began to critique myself in terms of the way I looked in the mirror. Soon in my early 20s, I noticed others around me with great physiques and wanted to put in the work and dedication to become fit, in my own individual way.
This led me towards weight training and initially it was a struggle since I had no one to guide me through this lifelong journey that I knew nothing about. At the gym, it was intimidating being around others who were much more experienced and appeared much better physically. Learning from my own mistakes, experiences, and online education, grew my curiosity in terms of learning further about exercises and anatomy. Slowly, I improved my relationship with nutrition as well, which gave me more clarity, satisfaction, and confidence to become a better version of myself.
From the beginning of my fitness journey, I realized I wasn’t the only one who was struggling to better myself. The more I connected with individuals online and in person, I understood what they wanted to achieve physically and were just in need of guidance on how and where to start their very own fitness journey. Getting fit and healthy does not have to be difficult, but oftentimes with so much conflicting and contradictory information out there, it can be very frustrating to know what to do. I decided to look deeper into the fitness industry and educate myself to become a certified fitness trainer. This unlocked multiple doors for me to help others. The journey isn’t over yet, there is always room for improving, gaining knowledge, and sharing my experience with all of you.
